The Future of Tracking – From Quantified Bears to Quantified Cognition

From The Quantified Bear to Tracking in Space to Advances in Healthcare

Why would you quantify a bear? How to track health in extreme environments like space? And how can the learnings from there apply to the rest of us to advance healthcare?

Donal O’Gorman, who is on the medical board of the European Space Agency will share his learnings from working with the ESA.

In addition to working with the ESA, Donal is the director at the National Institute for Celular Biology in DCU. Donal is a leading expert in diabetes, glucose, and has given talks at Quantified Self previously on diabetes, nutrition and biomarkers.

Tracking Brain Power

Prof. Tomas Ward (AIB Chair of Data Science at DCU) will give a presentation on the use of wearable neurotechnology for tracking of human cognitive performance.
