Quantified Self SF #9: Productivity Special
***PRODUCTIVITY SPECIAL***
Wanna be more productive in work, life, play? Join us for an evening of QS-related insights and stories on productivity on Wednesday, 15th July at Ninth Street Independent Film Studios, 145 9th St in SOMA. Learn about the latest productivity tools and tech out there that the community is developing.
The evening will kick off with a social with food and drink, include toolmaker shares and conclude with personal self-tracking stories from several members.
If you have a productivity-related self-tracking story you want to share or if you are building a tool or technology to improve productivity in any area of your life, please RSVP or email us: [masked].
New to the Quantified Self? QS is about growing our self knowledge through tracking and numbers. More info can be found at http://quantifiedself.com/. Come on down and get involved in the community!
The $10 admission will help cover food, drinks and venue hire. If anyone would like to volunteer to help setup and meet and greet people and show them up to the location, please show up a bit early. We are also looking for sponsors for future events should your company be interested!
We look forward to seeing you on the 25th! Andy, Greg & Sina
EVENING SCHEDULE:
6:30pm – 7pm – Social time, food and drinks
7pm – 7:15pm – Lightning talks from Toolmakers
Each toolmaker will present what they’re working on for 2 minutes, so you’ll be able to connect to chat more after if you are interested in their ideas! If you have a tool to share, please let us know in your RSVP.
7:15pm – 8:30pm – Show & Tell (Ignite Format)
Each speaker will present their self-tracking story for 5 minutes, and then the floor will be opened up to questions for another 5 minutes.
If you’d like to talk about your personal self-tracking story, please again let us know in your RSVP. In your talk, you should answer the three prime questions: What did you do? How did you do it? What did you learn?
If you’ve never been to a meetup before, you can get a sense of what the talks are like from watching videos of previous QS talks.
