Welcome Alexandra Carmichael!

AlexandraCarmichael.May2010.pngMany of those who have been involved with the Quantified Self since we started blogging and having our Show&Tell meetings already know Alexandra Carmichael. Alex is the co-founder of the collaborative health research site, CureTogether, a colleague of our friends at the Institute for the Future, a regular blogger on personal data topics, and a general force for good in the world. We are happy to announce that she has agreed to make her informal, unofficial role here at QS formal and official.

As our new Director, Alexandra will be taking the lead on three things that we think are really important right now:

*Supporting QS Show&Tell meetings around the world.
*Blogging and building useful online resources for the QS community.
*Recruiting sponsors to support our work.

If you would like to contribute to the QS scene, Alexandra can probably offer some useful advice and assistance. Please feel free to email her at alexandra.carmichael@gmail.com

She is also @accarmichael on Twitter.

Welcome, Alex!
