What will you track over the holidays?

A touchy-feely post this week, I’d love to hear your suggestions on meaningful things we might track during the holidays, now or whenever they are celebrated. Here are a few ideas I had in the social and health categories. What are yours?

  • # social events participated in
  • # laughs
  • # times you stopped and took a breath
  • # family stories told
  • # people you told how you feel about them
  • # smiles obtained
  • # offers of help to someone
  • # times you felt gratitude
  • # times you gave the gift of listening
  • # times went for a walk
  • # servings food
  • # alcoholic drinks consumed
  • # sweets consumed

    Great idea, Matt!

I’m tracking meditation, miles walked, things I’m grateful for, amount of time spent relaxing (an important thing for me!), how often I tune into my kids instead of ignoring or getting upset with them, headaches, and of course hours worked – holidays are a great, distraction-free time to catch up on important projects.

Along Matthew’s ideas, I thought of focusing my quantting this holiday season on just the “thank you”s I explicitly said to people who contributed/inspired/sunshined (my) year 2010. So on this blog: Thank you QS team for the inspiration! especially Alexandra and Gary, thanks to Adriana co-orgonizer QS London, thx to Jon from Moodscope, Kiel the Bodyblogger, the QS Amsterdam team (Joost, Martin, James), to Candide QS Bruxelles, to the QS early adopters in France Emmanuel @egadenne and Christophe @Xtof_fr . I know #thanks:11 is not enough but it’s a start! :) Thanks!
