If you’ve been reading our posts for a while you’ve most likely noticed that we typically reference the Quantified Self community. If you’re not familiar with our structure and how to get involved you might be asking yourself, “How do I get involved with the QS community?”

Well, that’s simple. The best way to interact with the QS community is in person. That’s right, in personEven in this age of rapidly expanding social networks and online interaction systems we think that the age-old method of talking, listening, and interacting face-to-face has a lot of value. That value is expressed on a nearly daily basis at the numerous QS meetups going on around the world.  These meetups grew out of the simple desire to learn what other people were doing with the newfound ability to understand and track their lives. Four years later that same philosophy of open sharing and collaborative learning lives on in over 80 QS meetups you can attend.

For instance, just this week we have nine meetups that you can attend:

Tuesday
Sydney Meetup
Austin Meetup
Boulder/Denver Meetup
Portland Meetup
Silicon Valley Meetup
Melbourne Meetup

Thursday
Lansing Meetup
San Diego Meetup

Friday
Santa Barbara Meetup

We also have new meetups popping up all over the map. From Hong Kong to Memphis to Bucharest communities are forming to discuss, share, and learn from each other. If you’re looking to get involved with self-tracking or want to share your experience with our growing QS community consider attending a meetup near you. You can check out our side bar to right to find your closest meetup. If there’s no meetup in your area? Then we invite you to start one! We’ve compiled a great FAQ to get you started and on your way or contact us to learn more.
